The Ronald McDonald House is an organization that has been working for over half a century to raise money for pediatric care. By pairing with schools, community buildings, and other organizations, they work to raise money through all kinds of events. Together, they host food drives, races, gatherings, and much more, all hoping to raise money to help cure diseases impacting pediatric medical care. As well as hosting fundraisers, they also provide housing and a stable environment to the families of these children.
The Ronald McDonald House has worked with a number of schools, including Trevor. Trevor has partnered and worked with Ronald McDonald for over 15 years. This year, we are working to help with a specific group within the overall organization called the Parent’s Pantry Drive.
This smaller section of the establishment works to provide meals to local families. This helps make it so the parents and other family members can spend their time with their child instead of worrying about how to put the next meal on the table. Currently, Trevor is working on collecting shelf-stable food to provide for these meals. Students interested in working to help donate be bags on C-level at the East Campus from February 10 to February 25. Thank you in advance for your help, and a special thanks to Ms. L, Mr. Ulitto, Riley Z. ‘26, and Jayden D. ‘26 for coordinating the drive.
