Ever since 2017 when Role Model (real name Tucker Pillsbury) entered the music scene, his fans have been entertained and enraptured by the catchy, meaningful lyrics and playful synth beats of his music. He captured even more of the media's attention in 2022 with his debut album, Rx, where his lead single “forever&more” surpassed fifty million streams on Spotify. After the release of his debut album and two different promotional tours, he went radio silent on social media for two years.

Role Model re-emerged onto the music scene this past July by announcing his new single “Oh, Gemini” from his new album Kansas Anymore, centered around heartbreak and homesickness. Since the release of the single and the album following it, Role Model has gained new listeners who enjoy the pop-rock sound of his album. After performances on talk shows of performing hit songs like “Deeply Still In Love” and “Look At That Woman,” and releasing music videos including popular celebrities like Lizzy McAlpine and Ariana Greenblatt, Role Model’s 13-track album has taken him to a new level of fame.

Part of Role Model’s success has to be credited to his connection with his fans; he knows his audience. He collaborated with popular clothing brand Oddli to promote his album and released a capsule collection that did extremely well. Role Model also has a unique online presence, making him stand out from other rising artists. He interacts with his fans online in his comment sections and tours, frequently growing his audiences through his live music.

Role Model joined Gracie Abrams on the first leg of her The Secret Of Us Tour, playing at famous venues like Radio City Music Hall in New York City and The Greek Theater in Los Angeles. He will join her again for her tour next summer, titled The Secret Of Us Deluxe Tour. He also embarked on his tour, The No Place Like Home Tour (note the reference to Wizard of Oz) this past November, kicking off in Europe. Role Model’s newest album can be heard live this spring in New York on March 15th, at the Brooklyn Paramount.
